My husband has been laid off from his union job for about six months now. It has been an interesting six months. And although it could very easily become a time of stess, anxiety, or fear,it just really is not. We are kind of looking at the whole situation like a big adventure. Each day is completely different. And it is really nice to have my husband around more. A few years back my husband left his union job to start his own business. It was very profitable for the first year and most of the second. But when the economy first started to turn his business started to get tight. So he made the choice to try the union again. That went well. That is until he was laid off. So now we find ourselves in a new place once again. One thing that we need to be sure we continue to keep up on are things like out health and vehicle insurance.
